- 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 3 large Eggs
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
- 1/3 cup Cocoa Powder
- 1–2 tablespoons Red Food Coloring
- 8 oz Cream Cheese
- 1 cup Powdered Sugar
Instructions
- Preheat the Oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, melt the butter and stir in granulated and brown sugar until combined.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract.
- Sift together flour and cocoa powder, then fold into the wet mixture.
- Add red food coloring until desired hue is reached.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth, then add powdered sugar and vanilla.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the pan, drop spoonfuls of cheesecake mixture and swirl.
- Pour remaining brownie batter on top, swirl again.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
Notes
These brownies are best enjoyed chilled and can be topped with powdered sugar or chocolate syrup.
