- 2 cans crescent rolls
- 6 large eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sautéed mushrooms
- 1 cup diced bell peppers
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1 cup cooked sausage or bacon (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté the sliced mushrooms and other veggies until tender.
- Unroll the crescent rolls and press them into the bottom of a greased casserole dish.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the eggs and milk, seasoning with salt, pepper, and herbs.
- Layer the sautéed vegetables, protein, and cheese over the crescent roll base; pour the egg mixture on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until the center is set and the top is golden.
