- 1 package of crescent rolls
- 6 eggs
- 1 cup of mushrooms, sliced (button or cremini)
- 1 cup of grated cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1/2 cup of milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh or dried herbs (thyme or basil)
- Optional: bacon or sausage
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the crescent rolls by rolling out the dough in a greased 9×13 inch baking dish, pressing seams together.
- Sauté the sliced mushrooms in a skillet over medium heat with a drizzle of olive oil, along with salt and pepper, until browned (about 5-7 minutes).
- Whisk together eggs and milk in a bowl; add cheese and herbs, seasoning with salt and pepper.
- Combine the sautéed mushrooms over the crescent rolls, then pour the egg mixture evenly over the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the top is golden and eggs are set. Let cool before slicing.
- Serve hot, garnished with fresh herbs if desired.
