  • 1 cup pretzel crumbs
  • 1 cup cherries (fresh or frozen)
  • 3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat chicken dry and season with salt and pepper.
  3. In a food processor, pulse pretzel crumbs until flour-like, leaving some larger bits intact.
  4. In a saucepan, combine cherries, honey, garlic, and spices. Simmer for 5-10 minutes until thickened.
  5. Dip chicken into cherry glaze, then coat with pretzel crumbs.
  6. Place coated chicken on a baking sheet, drizzled with extra glaze, and bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
  7. Let rest for a few minutes, serve with more cherry glaze drizzled on top.
