Description
Delightful peppermint Oreo truffles combining crushed Oreos and cream cheese, wrapped in rich chocolate with a refreshing minty finish.

- 20 Oreo cookies
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 10 oz chocolate (milk, dark, or white)
- 1 tsp peppermint extract
- 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies
Instructions
- Crush the Oreos in a food processor until finely crushed.
- Mix crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese until well-combined.
- Add peppermint extract and mix until evenly distributed.
- Roll small portions of the mixture into balls, about an inch in diameter.
- Chill the rolled truffles on parchment paper for about 30 minutes.
- Melt the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
- Dip each chilled truffle into the melted chocolate and sprinkle with crushed peppermint before the chocolate hardens.
- Chill again until the chocolate sets, then serve at room temperature.
Notes
Make cleanup easier by using wax paper. Have extra crushed peppermint on hand for decoration.
