- 3 cups powdered sugar

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Cream the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Mix the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl, then gradually add to the wet mixture.
- Add the peppermint extract and fold until evenly distributed.
- Scoop dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers are soft.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Prepare the frosting by mixing powdered sugar, peppermint extract, and milk until smooth.
- Frost cooled cookies and decorate as desired.
Notes
Ensure ingredients are at room temperature for better mixing. Don’t overbake; cookies continue cooking while cooling.
