A fun and festive treat that combines rich chocolate and refreshing peppermint for a delightful hot chocolate experience.
Ingredients

- 8 oz of good-quality chocolate (semi-sweet, dark, or milk)
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 tsp pure peppermint extract
- 1/2 cup crushed candy canes
- 1 cup mini marshmallows
- Silicone molds
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate by chopping it into small pieces and melting in a double boiler or microwave in short bursts.
- Coat the insides of the silicone molds with the melted chocolate using a spoon or pastry brush.
- Chill the coated molds in the refrigerator for 5-10 minutes until the chocolate hardens.
- Fill half of the chocolate shells with a tablespoon of cocoa powder, mini marshmallows, and crushed candy canes.
- Seal the bombs by warming the edges of the empty shells on a warm plate and pressing them together with the filled halves.
- Store the bombs in an airtight container for up to two weeks.
