Description

Delicious Pecan Pie Bars combining sweet, nutty flavors with a buttery crust.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 3 Eggs
  • 1 cup Corn Syrup
  • 2 cups Toasted Pecans, chopped
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar. Mix until smooth.
  3. Add flour and salt, stirring until a cohesive dough forms.
  4. Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and evenly press the dough into the bottom. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden.
  5. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, corn syrup, and vanilla. Stir in toasted pecans.
  6. Pour the pecan mixture over the crust, spreading evenly. Bake for an additional 30-35 minutes until set and caramelized.
  7. Cool completely in the dish before cutting into squares.

Notes

For added flavor, consider adding a dash of bourbon to the filling. Melted dark chocolate drizzled on top makes for a sweeter touch.
