  • 1 Baguette or Crostini Base
  • 8 oz Brie Cheese
  • 2 Fresh or Dried Pears
  • 1 cup Cranberries
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 1/4 cup Chopped Nuts (optional, walnuts or pecans)
  • Fresh Herbs (thyme or rosemary)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Slice the baguette into ½-inch thick slices.
  3. Toast the slices in a single layer on a baking sheet for 5–7 minutes, or until golden.
  4. Prepare the toppings by slicing pears thinly and simmering fresh cranberries with sugar and water if necessary.
  5. Assemble the crostini by spreading Brie on warm toast, adding pears, cranberries, and nuts.
  6. Drizzle with honey for sweetness.
  7. Sprinkle with fresh herbs for aroma.
  8. Bake assembled crostini for a couple of minutes for extra melt (optional).
  9. Serve warm and enjoy!
