  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips (for spider legs)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together flour and baking soda; set aside.
  3. In another bowl, combine peanut butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar, beating until creamy.
  4. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until fully combined.
  5. Gradually stir in the dry mixture until just combined.
  6. Scoop tablespoons of dough, roll into balls, and place on baking sheets.
  7. Bake for 8–10 minutes until lightly golden around the edges.
  8. While cooling, melt chocolate, dip pretzel sticks, and attach them to cookies for spider legs; add candy eyes.
  9. Let cool completely before serving.
