- 4 ripe peaches, sliced
- 1 cup granulated sugar (or brown sugar)
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free blend)
- 1 cup whole milk (or almond milk)
- 2 large eggs

- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice fresh peaches into wedges and toss them with a bit of sugar. Let sit for 10 minutes to release juice.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugar, and eggs until combined. Gradually add milk and mix until smooth.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and spices. Fold into the wet mixture until just combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and evenly distribute the peaches on top.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until set and golden on top.
- Let cool slightly before serving, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
