Description

A delightful fusion of classic peach cobbler and creamy pudding, bursting with sweet, sun-kissed peaches and warm spices.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ripe peaches, sliced
  • 1 cup granulated sugar (or brown sugar)
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour (or gluten-free blend)
  • 1 cup whole milk (or almond milk)
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice fresh peaches into wedges and toss them with a bit of sugar. Let sit for 10 minutes to release juice.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted butter, sugar, and eggs until combined. Gradually add milk and mix until smooth.
  4. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and spices. Fold into the wet mixture until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and evenly distribute the peaches on top.
  6. Bake for 45-50 minutes until set and golden on top.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.

Notes

Invest in quality ingredients for the best flavor. Allow the pudding to cool slightly after baking for easier serving.
