- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons fresh herbs (parsley or thyme), chopped
- 3 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Olive oil for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a baking dish with butter or olive oil.
- Pat the chicken thighs dry with paper towels, then season with salt and pepper on both sides.
- In a bowl, mix the grated Parmesan cheese with herbs, a pinch of salt, and a splash of olive oil.
- Dip each chicken thigh into the cheese mixture, pressing gently to adhere, and place them in the greased baking dish.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
- Stir in heavy cream and simmer for a few minutes, then drizzle the sauce over the chicken in the baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C) and the crust is golden and bubbly.
- Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Pair with garlic mashed potatoes or a fresh salad. For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with milk or a non-dairy alternative.
