- 2 cups pretzels
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- Flaky sea salt
Instructions
- Prepare the pretzel base: Crumble pretzels into a bowl, then melt the butter and mix it with the pretzels until coated. Press firmly into a lined baking dish.
- Melt the caramel: In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter, and sweetened condensed milk. Cook over medium heat until thickened.
- Pour the caramel over the pretzel base, spreading it evenly.
- Chill for about two hours. Melt chocolate chips and drizzle over the top. Sprinkle with sea salt.
- Cut into squares after setting in the fridge.
Notes
Allow the caramel to cool slightly before pouring over the pretzel crust to avoid sticking.
