- 1 ½ cups oats (quick or rolled)
- ½ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- ½ cup butter (melted)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 ½ cups M&M candies
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine oats, cocoa powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, stir together sweetened condensed milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until all oats are coated. Fold in M&M’s.
- Spread the mixture evenly in the baking pan and press down firmly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until set and edges start peeling away.
- Cool completely before cutting into squares.
Notes
For extra fudgy bars, consider slightly under-baking. Ensure to let the bars cool completely before cutting for the right texture.
