Description

A delightful salmon dish glazed with a rich miso butter sauce, perfectly balanced with umami and sweetness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Miso paste (white or yellow)
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted butter, softened
  • 12 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Honey or maple syrup
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh herbs (Chives or parsley) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine miso paste, softened butter, minced garlic, and honey. Mix until smooth.
  3. Place salmon fillets skin-side down on a greased baking dish; season with salt and pepper.
  4. Spread the miso butter mixture evenly over the top of each fillet.
  5. Bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes until flaky and partially opaque.
  6. Sprinkle fresh herbs over the top and serve immediately.

Notes

Ensure to let the salmon rest for a few minutes after baking to retain moisture. Serve with your favorite sides like garlic sautéed spinach or jasmine rice.
