- 2 rock lobsters, split in half lengthwise
- 3 tablespoons miso paste (white or yellow preferred)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Fresh chives or parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Prepare the lobster by rinsing it under cold water and splitting it in half lengthwise.
- In a bowl, combine miso paste and softened butter; stir in minced garlic and lemon juice.
- Coat the lobster halves generously with the miso-butter mixture.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and ensure the grates are clean and lightly oiled.
- Place the lobster halves shell-side down on the grill and grill for about 5-7 minutes until the meat is opaque.
- Remove the lobster; sprinkle with fresh herbs and a squeeze of lemon juice.
- Serve immediately, ideally with grilled vegetables or a light salad.
Notes
Make sure not to overcook the lobster; it should reach an internal temperature of 140°F (60°C) for best texture.
