Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch round cake pan.
- Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 4 minutes.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next.
- Stir in vanilla extract, followed by milk, mixing just until combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet, folding gently until just combined.
- Gently fold in the blueberries.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan, smoothing the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Drizzle with blueberry glaze, if desired.
