A refreshing and creamy drink made with matcha powder, milk, and chewy tapioca pearls.
Ingredients

- 1–2 teaspoons matcha powder
- 1 cup milk (whole, skim, or plant-based)
- Sweetener to taste (sugar, honey, or agave syrup)
- 1/4 cup tapioca pearls
- Hot water for matcha
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Cook the tapioca pearls according to package instructions until soft and chewy.
- Whisk matcha powder with a small amount of hot water until smooth, aiming for a paste-like consistency.
- Add milk and sweetener to the matcha mixture and stir until well combined.
- In a glass, layer the cooked tapioca pearls and pour the matcha mixture over them.
- Add ice cubes and stir gently to combine.
- Enjoy your homemade Matcha Bubble Tea.
Notes
Use a bamboo whisk for a frothier texture. Be careful not to overcook the tapioca pearls.
