- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1 tbsp lemon zest
- 2 tsp freshly cracked black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F.
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels.
- In a large bowl, combine the wings with olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, black pepper, garlic powder, and salt. Mix to coat evenly and marinate for 30 minutes in the fridge.
- Arrange the marinated wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, flipping them halfway through until they are crispy and browned.
- Toss wings with more lemon juice, black pepper, and salt if desired. Serve hot with lemon slices and fresh herbs.
Notes
For extra crispiness, consider using a wire rack while baking. Be sure not to overcrowd the baking sheet.
