Description

A light and creamy Lemon Panna Cotta that captures the essence of summer with its refreshing flavors and elegant presentation.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups Heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup Granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Gelatin
  • 1/4 cup Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over a few tablespoons of cold water and let it sit for about 5 minutes to bloom.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the heavy cream, sugar, and vanilla extract. Stir gently until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is warm but not boiling.
  3. Remove the cream mixture from heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved.
  4. Add the fresh lemon juice and zest, and mix well to combine.
  5. Divide the mixture into serving glasses or ramekins, using a fine mesh strainer for a smoother texture if desired. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until set.
  6. Once set, top each panna cotta with fresh fruit, a drizzle of honey, or crushed nuts before serving.

Notes

For best results, refrigerate overnight to allow flavors to meld; serve with fresh toppings like berries or citrus segments.
