Description

A simple yet elegant dish featuring fresh salmon fillets cooked in a rich lemon garlic butter sauce, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 fresh salmon fillets
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 45 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • Juice and zest of 1 fresh lemon
  • Fresh herbs (parsley, dill, or cilantro) for garnish
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prep the Salmon: Rinse the fillets under cold water, then pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. Make the Sauce: In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Once it bubbles, add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  3. Add the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets skin-side down (if skin-on). Cook for 4-5 minutes without disturbance.
  4. Squeeze the Lemon: Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the fillets and add lemon zest.
  5. Flip and Finish: Carefully flip the salmon and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until flaky.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh herbs, and serve immediately.

Notes

Serve with a garden salad, roasted vegetables, or creamy mashed potatoes. A crisp white wine like Sauvignon Blanc pairs well.
