Description

A comforting and flavorful dish featuring fresh salmon fillets infused with lemon, garlic, and butter, perfect for family gatherings or weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 fresh lemons (zest and juice)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley or dill, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Rinse the salmon fillets and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Season both sides of the salmon with salt and pepper.
  4. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat and stir in minced garlic, sautéing for about 2 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat and add lemon zest and juice.
  6. Place salmon fillets skin-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper; drizzle the garlic lemon butter mixture over the fillets.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Sprinkle with fresh herbs and serve hot.

Notes

For best results, use fresh garlic and make sure not to overcook the salmon. The skin can be left on during cooking to retain moisture.
