- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup walnuts, coarsely chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, and then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts.
- Scoop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space in between.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until lightly golden around the edges.
- Let sit on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For a dairy-free option, substitute butter with coconut oil or vegan butter.
