- 1 lb boneless chicken (breast or thighs), sliced into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tbsp fresh ginger, minced
- 4 scallions, sliced (reserved greens for garnish)
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil (or olive oil)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
Instructions
- Gather your ingredients and prepare the chicken, ginger, garlic, and scallions.
- Heat a tablespoon of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken in a single layer and cook undisturbed for 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Add ginger, garlic, and the white parts of the scallions to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Pour in soy sauce and drizzle sesame oil, allowing it to simmer for a few minutes until flavors meld.
- Remove from heat, sprinkle reserved green scallions and chili flakes if desired.
- Serve with steamed rice or noodles.
Notes
For an easy cleanup, use parchment paper in the baking sheet. Adjust seasoning as needed and feel free to substitute ingredients based on preference.
