  • Author: sara

Description

Succulent lamb chops paired with a buttery mustard-thyme sauce create a memorable family meal that evokes warmth and connection.

Ingredients

  • Bone-in Lamb Chops
  • Dijon Mustard
  • Fresh Thyme
  • Butter
  • Freshly Minced Garlic
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Instructions

  1. Take the lamb chops out of the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking to reach room temperature.
  2. Pat the chops dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. In a heavy skillet or cast-iron pan, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the lamb chops and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  4. Remove the chops and set aside. In the same skillet, reduce heat and add butter. Once melted, stir in minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add Dijon mustard and fresh thyme, stirring to combine.
  5. Place the lamb chops back in the skillet, cooking them in the sauce for another 3-4 minutes until desired doneness.
  6. Allow the chops to rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
  7. Serve with your favorite sides like creamy mashed potatoes or a fresh salad.

Notes

For best results, aim for medium-rare (internal temperature of 145°F). Let the chops rest after cooking for juicy results.
