- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 8 oz fresh button or cremini mushrooms, sliced
- 4 slices Swiss cheese
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the ingredients: Wash and slice the mushrooms, mince the garlic, and chop the herbs.
- Season the beef: In a bowl, combine ground beef with minced garlic, salt, pepper, and chopped herbs.
- Form the patties: Shape the seasoned beef mixture into uniform patties.
- Layer the foil: Cut aluminum foil into large squares, place a patty in the center, top with mushrooms and cheese.
- Seal the packets: Fold the foil over, pinching edges to seal tightly.
- Cook: Grill or bake at 400°F for 25-30 minutes until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- Remove and serve: Carefully unwrap the packets and enjoy!
