- 2 tsp Baking Powder

Instructions
- Preheat the Oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a 9-inch round cake pan and line the bottom with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together the ricotta, butter, and sugar until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well.
- Stir in the vanilla and zest.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined, then gently mix in the chocolate chips.
- Pour into the prepared pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute cottage cheese for ricotta. Pair with whipped cream or gelato for an enhanced experience.
