Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking tray, lining it with parchment paper.
  2. Combine the dry ingredients: whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, spices, and salt.
  3. Prepare the fruit and nuts by mixing them with a tablespoon of flour.
  4. Cream together the butter and light brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time, incorporating each fully before the next.
