A simple and delicious banana ice cream made with ripe bananas and cream, perfect for warm afternoons and family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 4 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup heavy cream or coconut milk
  • 2 tablespoons honey, maple syrup, or agave (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Peel the bananas and cut them into smaller chunks.
  2. Place the banana chunks into a blender or food processor and blend until smooth.
  3. Add in the cream (or coconut milk), sweetener, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt. Blend again until fully combined.
  4. Pour the mixture into your Ninja Creami container. Seal it tightly and freeze for at least 6 hours or overnight.
  5. Once frozen, take the container out of the freezer and insert it into the Ninja Creami machine.
  6. Process it using the “Ice Cream” setting until it reaches your desired consistency.
  7. Scoop out into bowls and enjoy! Top with favorite fruits, nuts, or a drizzle of chocolate.

Notes

Use very ripe bananas for the best sweetness. Allow to sit at room temperature for a few minutes before serving for easier scooping.
