- Bone-in, skin-on chicken (or boneless chicken breasts/thighs)
- 1 packet of gravy mix
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 onion, chopped (or 1 teaspoon onion powder)
- 2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 teaspoon garlic powder)
- Fresh or dried thyme and rosemary
Instructions
- Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and herbs.
- Place chicken in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix the gravy mix with chicken broth and whisk until smooth; pour over chicken.
- Add chopped onion and minced garlic to the crockpot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Near the end of cooking, shred the chicken and return to the gravy.
