- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 cup full-fat Greek yogurt
- 2 ripe bananas
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup almond flour or oat flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease an 8×8-inch baking dish, or line it with parchment paper.
- Mash the bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
- Mix the eggs into the banana mixture, followed by the Greek yogurt and vanilla extract. Stir until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, almond flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients, mixing gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth out the top. Optionally sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Let cool for 10-15 minutes before slicing.
Notes
Serve with a dollop of Greek yogurt or fresh berries for an extra treat. These brownies can also be frozen for up to three months.
