Description

Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream or Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley or chives, chopped
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Optional: cayenne pepper or smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp olive oil or butter

Instructions

  1. Clean and dice the mushrooms. Heat olive oil or butter in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the mushrooms until golden brown.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, and minced garlic. Mix until smooth.
  3. Fold the sautéed mushrooms into the cream mixture until evenly distributed.
  4. Stir in the parmesan cheese and fresh herbs. Season with salt and pepper.
  5. For a warm version, transfer the dip to a baking dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  6. Serve with your favorite dippers.
