Delightful, crispy treats that combine the nostalgic flavors of hot cocoa with the crunch of Rice Krispies.
Ingredients

- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 4 cups mini marshmallows
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a large pot over medium-low heat. Add 4 cups of mini marshmallows and stir until melted and smooth.
- Stir in 1/2 cup of cocoa powder, 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, and a pinch of salt.
- Remove from heat and fold in 6 cups of Rice Krispies until well coated.
- Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and stir well.
- Pour into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and press down with a spatula.
- Allow to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes before slicing into squares.
Notes
These treats can be made ahead of time and stored in an airtight container for 3 to 5 days. For best results, enjoy them alongside a warm beverage.
