Description
A delightful recipe for Honey Mustard Pork Chops that combines sweet and tangy flavors, perfect for family gatherings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 Pork Chops (bone-in or boneless, at least 1-inch thick)
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 2 tablespoons Mustard (Dijon or yellow)
- 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon Fresh Thyme or Rosemary (chopped)
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- Salt and Black Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Bring the pork chops to room temperature by taking them out of the fridge about 30 minutes before cooking. Pat them dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together honey, mustard, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined. Optionally, add a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork chops for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Reduce heat to medium-low, add the honey mustard glaze over the chops, cover, and cook for another 5-7 minutes, basting occasionally until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
- Allow the pork chops to rest for about 5 minutes before serving for juiciness.
Notes
For added flavor, consider using bone-in pork chops and adjust the mustard for added heat or the honey for a sweeter finish.
