Description

A delightful recipe for Honey Mustard Pork Chops that combines sweet and tangy flavors, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Pork Chops (bone-in or boneless, at least 1-inch thick)
  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 2 tablespoons Mustard (Dijon or yellow)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1 teaspoon Fresh Thyme or Rosemary (chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • Salt and Black Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring the pork chops to room temperature by taking them out of the fridge about 30 minutes before cooking. Pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together honey, mustard, minced garlic, salt, and pepper until well combined. Optionally, add a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the pork chops for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Reduce heat to medium-low, add the honey mustard glaze over the chops, cover, and cook for another 5-7 minutes, basting occasionally until the internal temperature reaches 145°F.
  5. Allow the pork chops to rest for about 5 minutes before serving for juiciness.

Notes

For added flavor, consider using bone-in pork chops and adjust the mustard for added heat or the honey for a sweeter finish.
