Description

A comforting and flavorful dish featuring juicy pork chops glazed in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
  • Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme, or parsley) for garnish
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the pork chops generously with salt and pepper. Optionally, marinate for 30 minutes.
  2. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil or butter. Once hot, sear the pork chops for 3-4 minutes per side until golden-brown.
  3. Remove the chops and add minced garlic to the skillet. Stir for 30 seconds, then add soy sauce and honey, stirring to combine. Allow to bubble and thicken slightly.
  4. Return the pork chops to the skillet, spoon sauce over them, and let simmer for a couple of minutes to meld flavors.
  5. Plate the pork chops, drizzle remaining sauce on top, and serve with preferred sides.

Notes

For a vegetarian option, substitute pork with chicken thighs or portobello mushrooms. If honey is unavailable, maple syrup can be used as a replacement.
