Description

A comforting dish with tender pork chops glazed in a sweet and savory honey-garlic sauce, perfect for family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 bone-in or boneless pork chops
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Crushed red pepper flakes, to taste

Instructions

  1. Season the pork chops generously with salt and pepper and let them sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  2. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the pork chops and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Remove the pork from the skillet. Add another tablespoon of butter and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  4. Pour in the honey and soy sauce, whisking together and letting it bubble for 1-2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  5. Return the pork chops to the skillet, coating them well in the sauce. Cook for an additional minute.
  6. Plate the pork chops, drizzle with remaining sauce, and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

Notes

Avoid overcrowding the skillet and let the chops rest after cooking for maximum juiciness.
