- 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Sweetener of choice (honey, maple syrup, or agave), optional
- Parchment paper
Instructions
- Wash the strawberries thoroughly, remove the green tops, and slice them in half.
- Blend the halved strawberries with lemon juice and sweetener until smooth.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and pour the strawberry puree onto it, spreading evenly to about 1/8 inch thick.
- Dry in a dehydrator at 135°F for 6-8 hours or in an oven at 170°F for 4-6 hours, keeping the door slightly ajar.
- Check for doneness; they should feel dry yet slightly tacky and peel easily from parchment.
- Once cool, cut into strips or roll them up. Store in an airtight container or wrap individually.
Notes
Use perfectly ripe strawberries for the best flavor. Adjust thickness for chewier or crispier roll-ups.
