- 1 lb ground beef
- 4 large flour tortillas
- 2 cups chopped lettuce (iceberg or romaine)
- 4 slices American cheese
- 1 cup sliced pickles
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 1/4 cup finely chopped pickles
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Prepare ingredients: chop the lettuce, slice the pickles, and shred the cheese.
- In a skillet over medium-high heat, add ground beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned.
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, chopped pickles, garlic powder, and a pinch of salt to make the special sauce.
- Lay a tortilla flat, spread special sauce, add cooked beef, layers of lettuce, a slice of cheese, and pickles.
- Fold the sides and roll up the tortilla tightly, tucking in the edges.
- Optional: Grill the wrap in a skillet until golden.
- Slice the wraps in half and serve with extra special sauce on the side.
Notes
Substitute ground turkey or plant-based meat for a lighter or vegetarian option. Whole wheat tortillas and dairy-free cheese can be used for healthier versions.
