Ingredients
- Beef: 1 lb sirloin or flank steak, thinly sliced
- Hoisin Sauce: 1/2 cup
- Noodles: 8 oz fresh egg noodles or rice noodles
- Vegetables: 1 cup bell peppers, sliced; 1 cup bok choy; 1 cup snap peas
- Aromatics: 3 cloves garlic, minced; 1 inch ginger, grated
- Herbs: Fresh cilantro or scallions, for garnish
- Oil: 2 tbsp for cooking
Instructions
- Prep Your Ingredients: Slice your beef, chop your vegetables, and measure out your hoisin sauce.
- Cook the Noodles: In a pot of boiling salted water, cook noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, tossing with oil.
- Stir-Fry the Beef: Heat 1 tbsp oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear beef until browned, about 2-3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
- Sauté the Vegetables: In the same skillet, add garlic, ginger, and vegetables, stir-frying until tender yet crisp, about 4-5 minutes.
- Combine Everything: Return beef to skillet, add hoisin sauce, and toss to coat. Stir in noodles and heat through for another minute.
- Finish and Serve: Remove from heat, garnish with fresh herbs and sesame seeds if desired. Serve hot.
