A decadent chocolate and peanut butter cake with a gooey center, perfect for family gatherings and celebrations.

- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups confectioners’ sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, oil, and water. Mix until well blended.
- In another bowl, beat together the peanut butter, cream cheese, vanilla extract, and half of the confectioners’ sugar until smooth.
- Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared baking dish. Dollop spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture over it and swirl with a knife. Pour the remaining cake batter on top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- While cooling, prepare frosting by mixing the remaining confectioners’ sugar with a splash of milk to drizzling consistency.
- Frost the cooled cake and serve warm.
Notes
Serve with ice cream or fresh fruit for added delight.
