Heavenly Chocolate Peanut Butter Ooey Gooey Cake

Description

A decadent chocolate and peanut butter cake with a gooey center, perfect for family gatherings and celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 cups confectioners’ sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, eggs, oil, and water. Mix until well blended.
  3. In another bowl, beat together the peanut butter, cream cheese, vanilla extract, and half of the confectioners’ sugar until smooth.
  4. Pour half of the cake batter into the prepared baking dish. Dollop spoonfuls of the peanut butter mixture over it and swirl with a knife. Pour the remaining cake batter on top.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  6. While cooling, prepare frosting by mixing the remaining confectioners’ sugar with a splash of milk to drizzling consistency.
  7. Frost the cooled cake and serve warm.
