- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup milk (dairy or plant-based)
- 2 grated apples
- 1 large egg
- 2 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine oats, milk, grated apples, egg, honey, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease it.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until bubbles form, then flip and cook another 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Transfer pancakes to a plate and keep warm while cooking remaining batches.
- Serve with your favorite toppings like fruits, nuts, or yogurt.
Notes
For gluten-free options, substitute almond or coconut flour for oats and use flaxseed meal with water as an egg substitute.
