- 1 lb deli ham, sliced
- 1 lb mozzarella or gouda cheese, shredded
- 1 package (17.3 oz) puff pastry, thawed
- 1 tsp fresh thyme
- 1 tsp cracked black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp melted butter or olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface until thin.
- Cut the pastry into rectangles or squares.
- Place a slice of ham on each piece of dough, followed by a generous amount of cheese and herbs.
- Fold the dough over and seal the edges with a fork.
- Brush the tops with melted butter or olive oil.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving warm.
