- 1 cup pumpkin puree
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease your Bundt pan thoroughly.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, spices, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together pumpkin puree, sugar, and oil until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring gently just until combined. Fold in chocolate chips if using.
- Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 45–50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 15 minutes before inverting onto a wire rack to cool completely.
- For the chocolate ganache, heat heavy cream until boiling and pour over chocolate chips in a bowl. Whisk until smooth and cool slightly before pouring over the cooled cake.
- Decorate with festive sprinkles or crushed nuts.

Ensure that all ingredients are at room temperature for better mixing. Use cooking spray for easy removal from the pan.
