Description

A refreshing and creamy Guava Smoothie with tropical notes, perfect for breakfast or a light snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 ripe Fresh Guavas, chopped
  • 1/2 cup Greek Yogurt or Coconut Milk
  • 1 handful Fresh Mint Leaves
  • 12 tablespoons Honey or Maple Syrup (optional)
  • Juice of 1/2 Lime

Instructions

  1. Wash the fresh guavas thoroughly, cut them in half, scoop out the seeds if necessary, and chop them into smaller pieces.
  2. Add the guava pieces to your blender.
  3. Follow with Greek yogurt or coconut milk, fresh mint leaves, and honey or maple syrup, if desired.
  4. Squeeze in the lime juice.
  5. Blend until smooth, adding more coconut milk or water if needed for desired consistency.
  6. Taste and adjust sweetness with more honey or syrup if necessary, then blend again.
  7. Pour into glasses and garnish with mint sprigs or a slice of guava before serving.

Notes

For a chillier treat, freeze some guava slices to use in place of ice cubes.
