- 1 whole sea bream, cleaned
- 2 fresh lemons (zest and juice)
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Clean the sea bream under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
- Score the skin lightly with a knife.
- In a bowl, mix lemon juice, minced garlic, olive oil, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the marinade generously inside and outside the fish.
- Let the fish marinate for at least 30 minutes at room temperature.
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the fish on a lined baking sheet. Stuff with lemon slices and herbs if desired.
- Roast for 25-30 minutes until the flesh flakes easily and the skin is crispy.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes. Garnish with parsley before serving.
