Description

Ingredients

  • 1 large Egg or 2 Egg Yolks
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 2 1/4 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg(s) and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and stir just until combined.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Scoop spoonfuls of the dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden.
  10. Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  11. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For extra gooeyness, mix different sizes of chocolate chips. Ensure butter is at room temperature for best results.
