  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp thyme or parsley (fresh or dried)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the corn, honey, melted butter, and eggs. Mix until well combined.
  3. Fold in the cream or milk gently.
  4. Add herbs, spices, and cheese if using, and gently fold to maintain fluffiness.
  5. Transfer the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
  6. Bake for about 45 minutes to an hour, until the top is golden brown.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Broil the casserole for the last few minutes of baking for a caramelized top. Let cool before slicing to preserve shape.
