Instructions

  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the gluten-free flour, baking powder, baking soda, ground ginger, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and salt until well combined.
  3. In another bowl, combine the molasses, vegetable oil, and eggs and whisk until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture, stirring gently until just blended.
  5. Transfer the batter into your prepared cake pan, smoothing it out evenly.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Allow the cake to cool for about 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  8. Serve plain or topped with whipped cream or cream cheese frosting.
