Description

A delightful dish of roasted shrimp infused with garlic and finished with Parmesan cheese, perfect for family dinners.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 45 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste
  • Crushed red pepper (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. If using fresh shrimp, peel and devein them. If frozen, ensure they are completely thawed and dried.
  3. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Toss the shrimp in a mixing bowl with the garlic butter, salt, pepper, and half of the grated Parmesan cheese.
  5. Spread the shrimp out in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake the shrimp for about 8-10 minutes until pink and opaque.
  7. Remove from oven and sprinkle the remaining Parmesan and fresh herbs on top.
  8. Serve hot as an appetizer or main course.

Notes

Serve over pasta or alongside a salad. Can also be enjoyed chilled as a salad topping the next day.
