Ingredients

- 1 loaf of crusty Italian or sourdough bread
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2–3 cloves of fresh garlic, minced
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh parsley or basil, chopped (optional)
- Olive oil, for drizzling
- Salt & pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice the bread into thick pieces.
- In a bowl, mix softened butter, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Add herbs if desired.
- Spread the garlic butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Arrange on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
